Strut Tower Brace
Increase stiffness and reinforce the torque boxed in your 1979-2004 Mustang with Lower Torque Box Reinforcement Braces from BMR Suspension. The Fox-chassis Mustangs were not known for being super strong. When large amounts of torque are applied to the chassis, the factory torque boxes are known to crack and rip. This causes all kinds of rearend alignment issues, poor performance, and unsafe driving conditions. Designed from CNC-laser cut, CNC-formed steel plate, BMR?s Lower Torque Box Reinforcement Braces are designed to bolt into the ?79-?04 Mustang chassis, adding strength to the lower control arm mounts. This means you can put as much power and torque to the wheels as possible, without fear of damaging this critical area of the chassis.
This two-point design solidly links the front strut towers, adding strength to the entire front unibody and suspension.

Most stock chassis flex dramatically, even with mild amounts of torque and horsepower. BMR suspension strut tower braces reduce chassis flex and increase handling and performance. They are manufactured from a mix of large diameter DOM steel tubing and thick laser-cut steel plate. Depending on the application, they are available in two-point and four-point designs that solidly link the front strut towers, adding strength to the entire front unibody and suspension. Most are available in black hammertone and red powdercoat finishes for long-lasting good looks. BMR strut tower braces are 100 percent bolt-in. This means they can be easily installed with simple hand tools, and no welding is required. Installation time is typically less than an hour. When performance is a must, rely on BMR Suspension!
